These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of Baystate Courier's services. By using our courier services, you ("Customer") agree to comply with and be bound by this Agreement. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
Service Provision
- 1. Baystate Courier provides delivery and courier services to facilitate the transportation of packages and documents.
- 2. The services include pickup, transportation, and delivery of packages within the designated service areas.
- 3. Baystate Courier reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items.
Customer Responsibilities
- 1. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information for each shipment, including the recipient's name, address, contact details, and any specific delivery instructions.
- 2. The Customer must ensure that the packages are securely packaged and appropriately labeled with the necessary shipment information.
- 3. The Customer agrees not to ship any illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items, including but not limited to explosives, firearms, drugs, flammable materials, and live animals.
- 4. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the contents of the package comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the origin and destination countries.
Service Limitations and Delays
- 1. Baystate Courier makes reasonable efforts to provide timely and efficient delivery services. However, delays or service interruptions may occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, traffic congestion, natural disasters, and other events.
- 2. Baystate Courier is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays, missed deliveries, or service interruptions.
Liability and Insurance
- 1. Baystate Courier's liability for any loss, damage, or delay to a shipment is limited to the actual value of the package.
Payment and Billing
- 1. The Customer agrees to pay the charges for the services rendered by Baystate Courier, including transportation, handling, and any additional fees or surcharges applicable to the shipment.
- 2. Payment for the services can be made by the methods specified by Baystate Courier, including credit card, or other electronic payment options.
- 3. Invoices and payment details will be provided to the Customer according to the agreed billing cycle.
- 4. Failure to make timely payment may result in the suspension or termination of services.
Intellectual Property
- 1. The Customer acknowledges that Baystate Courier's name, logo, and trademarks are the exclusive property of Baystate Courier. The Customer agrees not to use, reproduce, or modify Baystate Courier's intellectual property without prior written consent.
Termination
- 1. Baystate Courier reserves the right to terminate or suspend services to the Customer at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of this Agreement or failure to make payment.
- 2. The Customer may terminate services by providing written notice to Baystate Courier. Any outstanding charges or obligations must be settled before termination.
Confidentiality and Privacy
- 1. Baystate Courier respects the privacy of its customers and handles personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Amendments
- 1. Baystate Courier may modify or update this Agreement at any time. The Customer will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
